Note on VAT charges
CRB fees are considered to be statutory in nature and are therefore exempt from VAT. However, HM Revenue and Customs state VAT must be charged on our own element of the fee.
Our aim is to send off CRB Applications for processing on the day that they are completed.
The current Criminal Records Bureau targets are as follows:
•95% of Standard Disclosure completed within 2 weeks
•90% of Enhanced Disclosures completed within 4 weeks
We are not registered for VAT and do not currently charge VAT. However, we reserve the right to do so in the future should our circumstances change.
