Lots of good info, and it's great to see one website for info on all the schools pooled together.

Really useful website to assist Afrikan parents who want to get involved in their children's education. I particularly like the cultural aspects to the website, which combines the national curriculum with OUR STORY.
The website is navigation friendly and informative. I wish I had something like this when my chidlren were being educated.
Well done NABSS and may the blessings continue to flow on your work.

I felt pleased and encouraged to see a 'holistic' approach to learning and support of both parents and children of African descent. I was even more thrilled to receive the 'Step Back In Time To Ancient Kush' activity book, (in time for Kwanzaa) to enjoy with my little one!

NABSS has helped me acknowledge that we are responsible for our own future. Thus we are responsible for what we choose to feed the minds of our youth. Supplementary schools today but more of our own schools tomorrow

NABSS is a vital tool in linking our youth and parents with schools that are sowing seeds, which are fundamental to our youths development

This is a website that is needed for the community. With reports continually telling us as a community how our children are failing. I is for us as a community to take the bull by the horns and educate our children. NABBS is assisting us in doing this by its website and recent homeschooling conference. It provides updates and information on events in the field of education, further if you want your c to child to have extra tutoring this is the place to look.
I will draw to your attention the Excelsior College School. Speaking to many of the parents of current and former pupils the school gives a good daily education and the children are expected to work at a very high level. Results are good.

What a valuable and well needed resource that NABSS is providing. This is something that needs to be cherished and nurtured so that many more young people can access this provision.
Keep up the good work!

I feel that our common-unity should be very proud of this product and I hope that this website gets all the support it deserves . Well done! the more we promote eachother the better .

The NABSS website is a much needed resource of information and opportunity for black parents to give their children the upmost best in education. We need to equip our children with knowledge that will prepare them to be the top of their league and to be role models to the next generation.

This is a very valuable website to all Black parents trying to find the best schools that will suit the needs of their children in their area. Not only does it host the directory for the schools, it has a range of other interesting pages that hold facts on Black history and news. There is also a section on health and nutrition. It is a very informative website and I applaud NABSS. Well done for getting this website out there and keep up this invaluable work.

A positive and strong out look. Parents are able and given the oppotunity to educate our children in areas in which they are not educated in main stream schools. Well needed, keep it up, education is the key.

We run a supplementary school in West London for children who need additional help with their core curriculum subjects. Many parents have been referred to us from the NABSS website. We think this is a very important service for members of the community who are looking for culturally specific information. It supports individuals as well as other organisations.

NABSS is an excellent resource that I use when I need to advertise an event or find out about events. I get regular emails , so I am constantly up to date. It is a useful tool to communicate to all supplementary schools and organisations in the country and I am in full support of NABSS and all the work they are doing for the community. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
Best wishes

It is a great link for Diasporian African organisations to communicate. We always go to this site when we want to know what is going on or find out specific pieces of information. Example a list of book shops selling African centred books, how to locate exhibitions, conferences etc. Where we as a community are gathering! Blessings to you!

We find NABSS very useful. Not just because of the information on Saturday school but as well the information on the calendar with most of the community events taking place. It was a truly needed website and I hope it will expand in the next years so more events are uploaded and more activities relevant to the community can be accessed. I truly appreciate your work.

The NABBS website is a essential resource that offers information on education, cultural events, and community initiatives. The diary format has a wonderful and easy accessible way of finding out what's going on, when and where. The site's importance is made even more significant by the fact it is the only one of its kind on the net.

The work conducted and applied by NABSS, is paramount to the our community as a whole acting as the diary on the WWW, not to deduce from the calender of events that notifies us of who is where and what is going on. For this you have to be appraised not to forget the immaculate proposals relating to the youth that has endowed you as a sower of seeds of good tidings. May the ancestors continue to encase you in protection always.

State schooling leaves much to be desired. Cross-fertilisation with supplementary schools could transform them into inclusive, integrated and welcoming communities of learning where Black children's needs could be properly met and their full potential realised. That is the challenge.
