Educational Advocacy Volunteers Urgently Needed.

As you're aware at CEN, we provide independent advice and representation for parents of children who have been excluded or who are at risk of exclusion from school, the majority of whom are black boys and/or have an SEND.

Despite having a small number of internal Advocates as well as a number of volunteers, we are still rushed off our feet. Over the past few months we have been inundated by requests for our services and as a result we now have an increasing number of cases which we are unable to service so we are seeking assistance from anyone who has any advocacy experience - particularly those who have experience in education - who can spare some time to help us. Unfortunately, as we are a voluntary organisation we are unable to offer to pay however, we are able to offer reimbursement to volunteers for reasonable expenses such as for travel etc.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Jenn Lewis

Director
