This was a week of THIRTY SEVEN events under one roof. There was something for all ages and abilities.
After the recent uprisings the NBSSW 2011 already had some of the answers laid out with seminars and workshops from culture, education to business.
The theme this year was Past, Present and Future. The priority was to have young people film and record interviews with the pioneers of the Black supplementary schools movement, past and current students which will be used for a documentary in the future.

A momentous occasion that brought together several Black supplementary schools from the South London area. Afruika Bantu, ATL and the Nubia Afrikan Community Foundation schools were represented.
